The “helper” of the class, Gavin joined Journalism Workshop a week into the second semester. To join, Gavin had to rearrange his schedule by switching math classes and taking Chinese during Freshman Seminar. However, some might think that joining late did not serve him well as the class had many people who already started working on stories, but not Gavin. He quickly became many people's assistant, helping to lessen their workload. Gavin was not discouraged by his duty on the Pebble team, though. He enjoyed doing whatever he could to help the production of the magazine. For example, during one class, Gavin had to count every single locker in the whole school, and he did it with a smile on his face. His dedication did not go without thanks as for the Spring 2017 issue, Gavin is an editorial assistant. In the upcoming years, Gavin hopes to continue helping with the publication of the Pebble in as many ways as possible. View all posts by Gavin Cardamone
